Robert Mike Faverino

Robert Mike Faverino, 82, of Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday May 25, 2022, in Bloomfield.  He was born January 14, 1940, in Bloomfield, to Mike and Mary Faverino. Robert grew up in Bloomfield and as a young man he enjoyed racing cars at the Aztec Speedway. He became a mechanic and worked at the mine and at Navajo Dam.  Robert eventually moved to the family ranch in Allison, Colorado. During that time, he met Gayle Kimball.  They were married December 31, 1978. Robert enjoyed the outdoors.  He and Gayle spent time camping and fishing.  Robert was also a member of the Farmington Elks Lodge.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Gayle; parents, Mike and Mary Faverino; and his brothers Bill, Glenn, and Louis.  He is survived by his son Dwayne (Heather) Faverino, and daughters Mariann (Bill) Armenta, and Teresa (Mark) Johnson.  Robert is also survived by grandsons Dylan (Brooke) Faverino and Ethan Faverino; granddaughters Tawny Armenta, Sami Armenta and Brittany (Chris) Allison; and three great grandchildren Kady and Wacey Allison and Gracelynn Faverino.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Bayfield Cemetery, Bayfield Colorado (North on Road 501 from Hwy 160).

The family would like to thank Basin Home Health and Hospice for their tending love and care for our father.  Robert’s care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute Street in Farmington.
