Kathryn Elizabeth Cook

Kathryn Elizabeth Cook, daughter of Earl Tucker and Clara Belle Rhodes was born November 17, 1929 in Loudon Township, Illinois. She made her home in Farmington, NM for 76 years dedicating her life to her beloved family and to a multitude of friends. Kathryn loved helping others and opened her home to anyone in need.

She was united in holy matrimony to William Franklin Cook on July 18, 1953. This union was blessed with five children. William Cook preceded her in death on July 18, 1976.

The memory of her loving nature will remain forever in the hearts and minds of those she touched. She quietly departed this life on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in Farmington, New Mexico. She was 92 years old. Kathryn was preceded in death by her son William Stacy Cook.

The memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home. Sheldon Pickering will be officiating. Burial will follow the memorial at Memory Gardens of Farmington, NM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Kathryn’s beautiful life will forever be cherished by her children: Deborah Smith, Anita Poindexter, Cynthia Kerr, Kathryn James; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; and many loving friends.
