Stella Mary Schweigman

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ms. Stella Mary (Dick) Schweigman. Born to the late Antonia and Juan Rendon on April 11, 1938, in Silt, Colorado, she departed this life on December 11, 2023, in Farmington, New Mexico, at the venerable age of 85.

Stella was a cherished mother, sister, and friend. Her artistic flair was evident in the exquisite floral paintings she crafted, one of which was distinguished with an award at the local San Juan Fairgrounds at McGee Park. Stella's passion for dance was not only a personal joy but also a gift she generously shared through teaching line dancing at the Farmington Senior Center. She delighted in her rose garden and loved sitting on her back patio. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures one having company over, listening to a friend, and attending the Red Hat’s gatherings.

Stella's will be cherished by her loving daughters, Karen Sedillo and Marianne (Robert) Plant; her grandchildren, Casey Sedillo, Jessa Plant, Nicole Probst, and Michael Plant; nine great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. She is also survived by her caring sister Vera Butts and brother Steve Rendon. She was preceded in passing by her first husband, Robert W. Dick, her son Robbie Robertson, her sister Lena Sanchez, and her brother Alfred Rendon.
