Mitchel Dwayne Robinson

December 4, 1970 — September 4, 2024

Odessa, Texas

It is with an extreme heavy heart to inform that Mitchel Dwayne Robinson unexpectedly passed away on September 4th, 2024 in Odessa, Tx. Mitchel Dwayne Robinson was born on December 4th, 1970 in Farmington, NM to Joyce and Elmer Robinson. Mitch has always owned a business of some sort, starting out first at a towing company with his father Elmer. (Robinson bros towing) He then started his own trucking business in the oilfield, Hi Ridge Trucking in Aztec, NM while also owning an ATV sales shop, Hi Ridge Motorsports in Farmington, NM. He went on into business in the state of North Dakota and started his oilfield career by purchasing his first work over rig and started a whole new business. This business drove him to move to Odessa, TX where he purchased more work over rigs and his business prospered. Mitch was constantly doing anything in his power to not only provide for his family, but his employees as well.

Mitch was not only a generous man, but a kind humble and hardworking man, this is known by everyone that surrounded him. He would gladly take another in that needed it and his house was always a home to all. He would always be around with a joke or a backhanded comment to make everyone laugh. And if you were lucky you got to listen to some of his awesome life stories.

Mitch enjoyed a number of things in his free time when he was not working, such as racing his late model with his sons, riding atvs and dirt bikes with all of his children together, attending his oldest son’s races in North Dakota, lengthy phone calls with his oldest daughter, traveling to various places to watch his son play hockey, spending time with his employees on location and traveling in general. His favorite thing in the world was to be anywhere with all of his children.

To his friends and family, he was known as being “invincible” or “a rockstar.” He was surrounded with love and adored by all of his children family and friends. He gave all of the love in his heart to everyone around him. Mitch Robinson’s legacy will live on through the lives of his children.

Mitch is survived by his wife Mary Robinson, his children; Jacob Robinson (Chante), Ashley Robinson (Kobe), Trexton Robinson, Mason Robinson, Kilian Reidy, Harlo Robinson, Rigston Robinson, they were his pride and joy. Sisters; Angela Villasenor, Sandy Robinson. & we can’t forget his best friend, his dog Ollie. And lots of nieces & nephews & great nieces and nephews that he adored.
