Loredia Faust

Loredia, age 90 of Farmington, NM passed away September 17, 2023. She was born May 11, 1933 in Bebe, AR to Earl and Aletha West. The family moved to Arizona when she was a child, first in Oracle and then Casa Grande where she graduated from high school. She married Eugene Walker and lived in numerous places due to his work. They had 3 children. The family settled in Farmington where she lived the rest of her life. Later in life she married Eldon Loar. After his death, she met the love of her life, Paul Faust, who she married in February 2006. In her over 90 years she was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She had many different hats in her career but her most favorite was as a volunteer at SJRMC until her health no longer allowed to do so. She was awarded Volunteer of the Year for her services. After she retired from her volunteer work, she was an avid card player with her special circle of friends.

Her family included her Siblings Wilburn, Alline, James,(Della) Marcelle(Fred), Norman, and Maureen(Lee) Children: Eldon Walker(Deceased) and Johnnie, Renea West, Jeff Walker and Anita; Bonus Children Cheryl Keith, Paul Faust; Grandchildren Deidra (Fidel) Florez, Amanda (John) Garcia, Crystal Walker, Sterling Walker, and Jabe (Clara) Walker; Bonus Grandchildren Thomas (Libby) Womble, Amanda Keith, Heather (Shane) Riggs, Mariah (Leo) Serrano, and Brandy (Jordan) Cooper; 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild with 2 additional on the way as well as her special friends, Joe Ipock, Bill Young and her numerous circle of friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute Street, Farmington, New Mexico.
