Delaphine Ann Pedersen, was born on February 21, 1937, to Clarence and Laura (Matthews) Unzicker in Sterling, Colorado at the Good Samaritan Hospital.
Delaphine attended school in Fleming, Colorado and went on to Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado for a short time. She married Frank Davis and lived in Fleming, Colorado. They had a daughter Dianna. After her divorce she went to Texas where she met and married Bob Gray. They had a daughter Barbara and moved back to Colorado. She married John Pedersen in August of 1968 and lived near Denver, Colorado. Upon John's retirement, they moved to Farmington, NM, in 1996 and have resided there since.
After high school, Delaphine worked for J & L Cafe in Sterling. Later she worked at Skagg's Drug in Denver, Colorado, where she later retired from.
Survivors include two daughter, Dianna Davis of Colorado and Barbara Knott of Oklahoma, a sister, Jeannette Loos of Colorado, foster sister, Sylvia Gillespie of Colorado, stepsons, Jim Pedersen and Joe Pedersen, grandchildren, Chris Rhoades, Heather Rhoades, Ricky Bretz, Bobby Bretz, Amanda (Tim) Schley, and step-grandson, Shane (Linda) Pedersen of Nebraska, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband John and stepson Bill Pedersen.
A Memorial Service for Delaphine and John Pedersen will be held at a later time Wood Lake, Nebraska.
