Baraquiel Ramon Montano, age 82, passed from this life on Friday, March 15, 2019. He was born August 2,1937 in Cuba, NM. to Gregorio and Josefita Montano. He was also known as Bada, Ray and Pancho by many of his friends.
Baraquiel was a licenced commercial painter for many year's, his hobbies included playing billiards with the company of his many friends.
He is preceded in death by his son Abel Anthony Montano; parents Gregorio and Josefita Montano; brother Leo Jaramillio; sister-in-law Eliza Jaramillio; and grandparents Juliano Montano and Elvira Garcia.
Baraquiel is survived by his wife of 32 years, Juanita Pete-Montano; his daughters Lynn Montano-Johnson and Sharon Yvette Montano; including his grandchildren Anthony Abel Montano, Delavina and Cheyanne Montano-Johnson, Matthew Serna, Jesse, Christopher and Kimberly Montano; and great-grandchildren Ashlynn and Christian Montano, Hailey Serna, Jaydn Serna, Adrien Serna, Christopher Jr. Serna, Esmeralda and Katalena Duran.
Funeral Services will be held 6:30 PM, Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Brewer Lee and Larkin at 103 E. Ute St. Farmington, NM (505) 325-8688.
